Padova: The Untold Story
Strange occurrences plague the newly purchased Padova City. People have gone missing and the police refuse to help. Descend into the tunnels with us to discover the truth behind Padova's mysterious new owner.
Escape From Padova
The abandoned sanitorium outside of town has just been purchased and they’re now calling it Padova City. You heard that there’s something strange about the new owner and wanted to check it out for yourself.
Late one night, you find an entrance to the tunnels under the deserted facility and break in. The cold, dark tunnel that stretches out in front of you seems endless. Suddenly, an echoing slam rings out around you. You turn back and find the door has been shut and locked. You’re trapped underground...and you’re not the only one. Others have been down here for days and they tell you about strange symbols and machinery that fills the chambers beyond. You’ve broken into Padova, now you have to find a way to break out. Can you make it out alive?

The Robber Bridegroom tells the tale of an impoverished miller who seeks a better life for his only daughter. To save the mill, they arrange for her marriage to a wealthy man from out of town. She wants to help her family and do what is right, but something wicked lurks in the woods where the bridegroom lives. Chimera Theatre brings new life to this classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale in this dark adaptation that explores intuition, intrigue, and the uncertain nature of humanity.

The Hydra Performing Arts Festival is a festival for theatre, dance, and music in Kamloops, BC presented by Chimera Theatre in partnership with Actors Workshop Theatre. For our second year, we have an exciting collection of twelve new works by Kamloops artists with a focus on interdisciplinary art and challenging theatrical form. With comedies, dramas, burlesque, puppetry, and shows ranging from all ages to adults only, there's sure to be something for everyone at the Hydra Festival!
