The Hydra Performing Arts Festival is a festival for theatre, dance, and music in Kamloops, BC presented by Chimera Theatre in partnership with Actors Workshop Theatre. For our second year, we have an exciting collection of twelve new works by Kamloops artists with a focus on interdisciplinary art and challenging theatrical form. With comedies, dramas, burlesque, puppetry, and shows ranging from all ages to adults only, there's sure to be something for everyone at the Hydra Festival!

The Hydra Performing Arts Festival is taking place at the Actors Workshop Theatre at Thompson Rivers University (900 McGill Road). The theatre is located inside the Old Main building (835 University Drive) beside the Starbucks inside the main entrance on the east side of the building. There are two outdoor basketball courts on the lawns outside this main entrance.
Please note that the East Gate and Summit Gate of the university is inaccessible at this time due to construction, so please use the West Gate or Campus Drive Gate. From either direction, make your way onto Campus Drive. To find the Campus Drive Gate, drive west on McGill Road from Superstore and turn right just before the Tournament Capital Centre. To find the West Gate, turn right just after the Tournament Capital Centre coming from the same direction or go straight when travelling north on Hillside Drive (you'll go past Walmart and Home Depot) at the intersection of Hillside and McGill.
Once on Campus Drive, turn onto Wolfpack Road and continue until you find Visitor Parking Lot 1 or 2. These parking lots are the closest to Old Main, but other parking is available on campus.
