ARTISTIC MANAGING DIRECTOR
Andrew G. Cooper is the founding Artistic Managing Director of Chimera Theatre. For Chimera Theatre he has written and directed One Day, The Untold Tales of the Brothers Grimm, Crossroads, Knights of the Sun, Perseus & Andromeda, The Disordered Mind, The Witness, and Frankenstein. He also directed Mockus by George M. Johnson and wrote SuperZeroes, which was directed by Brittany McCarthy. Elsewhere, Andrew directed The Theodore Roosevelt Rotunda (TRU Actors Workshop Theatre) and has assistant directed The Wizard of Oz (Project X Theatre), Mamma Mia!, A Christmas Carol and The Cure for Death By Lightning (Western Canada Theatre).
Andrew is a proud resident of Kamloops and a graduate of Thompson Rivers University, where he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts and English.
