INTRODUCTION TO IMPROVISATION - BASICS

Three Sundays a month from 4pm - 5pm | October 20th 2019 to March 29th, 2020

Interested in improv but don’t know where to start? This introductory course will help beginners to learn the basics of improvisation, both for on the stage and for all aspects of life. This 18 week course will form the bedrock on which to build your improvisation skillset. You will learn all the aspects from the basic rules, to how to structure a storyline to be able to improvise in front of a crowd. Guided by experienced instructors, you will be led through 6 different monthly packages each participant will be taught about characters, miming, the improv rules and story structure.

This class will be led by two current members of the Freudian Slips. Paul Rancourt has served as the director of the Freudian Slips in the past, and is teaching alongside long time Slips veteran Allandra Gardner.


$20.00 per month, or the complete program for $100.00.

Begins October 20th, 2019 and will take place on three Sundays each month, dependant on Holidays.
