A performer's introduction to acting and an actor's introduction to performing. The workshop will explore a fusion of Meisner Technique, Alexander Technique and the fundamentals of breathing, stance, posture and vocal technique. This three hour long class taught by Glen Cairns, Artistic Director of The Other Theatre Company, fuses The American acting techniques of the great Sanford Meisner with the rhetorical techniques of the great British voice and speech teacher, Cecily Berry.

 

This hands-on workshop is suitable for beginners and those with limited experience in voice technique. The workshop is open to ages 15 and up and costs $40 per participant.
